49-Year-Old Man Arrested For DUI
“Around 1am on Wednesday May 23rd, police were on mobile patrol along Middle Road in Devonshire when they noticed a car travelling erratically,” a police spokesperson said.
“They pursued the driver and stopped the vehicle near the junction with Orange Valley Road. Officers approached the driver, a 49 year old Devonshire man who appeared to be intoxicated.
“He was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. He later failed the alco-analyser test and was detained in police custody as a result. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.”
