June 1, 2012

Governor George Fergusson visited the Prospect Police Headquarters on Wednesday [May 30] where he presented Queen’s Diamond Jubilee medals to a number of police officers.

Police Commissioner Michael DeSilva addressed those gathered, before the Governor spoke a few words before presenting the medals. Snacks and beverages were made available after the ceremony and Governor Fergusson took advantage of the time to speak to some officers individually.

@ BERNEWS – Are their any more pictures that can be published? Thanks if you can.

@Trott – Sorry, not that we can access, we asked the police for information yesterday, no luck yet. We went ahead and posted the photos solo rather than deleting them. We will update if we get any details…

Looking at a few of those cops it’s no wonder there’s such a problem with crime on this island! I thought there were fitness standards in the BPS!
