Enter The BNG Annual Student Art Competition

September 11, 2012

This year’s Bermuda National Gallery Annual Student Art Competition is now underway. Using the Bermuda Biennial as inspiration, the theme this year is revolved around portraiture and identity.

For the 2012 BNG Student Art Competition, artists are encouraged to explore the genre of portraiture. The theme for the competition is identity. The question to consider is: When I look in the mirror, what do I see? Along with the artwork, artists are being asked to submit a typed paragraph of explanation.

The deadline for the competition is Friday, November 30, 2012 at 4:00pm. All artwork must be able to be wall mounted and should be prepared for presentation. Each student who submits work will be entered into a draw for a ticket from American Airlines, as well as their art teacher.
