48-Yr-Old Arrested For DUI After Traffic Stop
A 48-year-old Pembroke man was arrested on Tuesday morning [Oct 16] on suspicion of impaired driving after he was stopped at a police traffic check in Warwick.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 3:30am on Tuesday, October 16th police officers were conducting traffic checks at the junction of Middle Road and Tamarind Vale in Warwick when they had cause to stop a motorcyclist traveling through the area.
“The rider, a 48 year old Pembroke man, appeared to be intoxicated and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. He later failed the alco-analyser test. As a result, a court appearance is anticipated in due course.”
