BA Flight Diverts Due To Sick Passenger

A British Airways flight traveling from Jamaica diverted to Bermuda last night [Oct 30] as a passenger took ill. Unofficial reports indicate a female passenger became ill, and was unconscious when the EMTs arrived to render assistance.

A BA spokesperson said: “BA can confirm that a passenger was taken ill on BA 2262 enroute from Kingston, Jamaica to London. The flight was diverted to Bermuda landing at 11.27 pm last night and the passenger was taken to King Edward MemorialHospital.

“The flight was then refueled and continued on its journey to London departing Bermuda at 12.29 am. Our thoughts are with the passenger’s family and we wish our customer a speedy recovery.”
