Penny Simmons Leads The IOD Worlds

The 2012 IOD Worlds are taking place in the Great Sound, with Bermuda’s Penny Simmons leading the way.

Simmons won the first race of the day, with Ian McNeice finishing second, Elliott Wislar finished third, while Rich Pearce finished fourth and Charlie Van Voorhis finished fifth.

Race number 2 saw Simmons sail to victory ye again, while Wislar finished second, Tim Heckscher finished third, Martin Rygh was fourth and Urban Ristorp finished fifth.

With the two victories, Simmons moved up the leaderboard and took over the overall lead with 12 points, Wislar is in second with 16 points, Day One leaders Bill Widnall and Matt Lindblad had finishes of 10th and 9th fell to 3rd place with 22 points.
