Video: Dandy Town Defeat Somerset Trojans

The Dandy Town Hornets and Somerset Trojans met up at the Wellington Oval today [Dec 26] for the Friendship Semi-Final.

After a scoreless first half the Somerset Trojans took the lead in the 55th minute through a Jonathan Bean strike, and in the 63rd minute the Dandy Town Hornets drew level when Lorenzo Simmons scored from close range.

A defensive error in the 84th minute allowed Angelo Simmons to outpace the Somerset Trojans defense and go around an advancing Ricardo Brangman in goal for the Somerset Trojans. A defender was able to deny Simmons’ first effort, however his second attempt was directed into the net off Brangman to give the Dandy Town Hornets a 2 – 1 lead.
