Videos: 2013 Fairmont To Fairmont Road Race
Chris and Ashley Estwanik are the 2013 Fairmont to Fairmont champions, with the husband and wife duo claiming yet another win on the local race circuit on Sunday morning [Jan 6].
Chris Estwanik crossed the line in a time of 37.46, while Stephen Allen finished second clocking 39.28 and Jay Donawa was third in 40:11. Ashley Estwanik finished in a time of 44:21, Rose-Anna Hoey was the second clocking 44:39, and Kristyn Robinson was the third female finisher in a time of 47:20.
Jahmari Sutton ran to victory in the Junior Race, Akim Johnston was second and Alex Pilgrim finished third. Lynsey Palmer was the first Junior female finisher, Jesse Marshall and the the third Junior female finisher was Selah Tuzo.
The 36th Annual Fairmont to Fairmont Race takes runners on a 7.2 mile course between the Fairmont Hamilton Princess and The Fairmont Southampton, and a 3 Member team relay over the 7.2 mile course as well as a Junior 3K race are also held as part of the event.
