Art Show & Frog Races In Dockyard On Saturday
The Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard will be hosting the ‘Secret Garden’ Show opening on Saturday [Feb 9] from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. This will coincide with the 3rd Annual Frog Race at the Frog and Onion restaurant starting at 7.00pm.
This is a themed Members’ Show which just about covers everything that the imagination will open the doors to from quiet gardens and secret doors to underwater fantasies.”
The students of Sandys Secondary Middle School will join in with their interpretations of “Secret Garden”. The opening of this show at the Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard will be on Saturday February 9th from 4:30 to 6:30. This will coincide with a fun event at the Frog and Onion restaurant, the 3rd Annual Frog Race starting at 7pm.
“This combination promises to offer an interesting and fun filled Saturday evening,” the organisers said.
Some of the participating artists are Jonah Jones, Michelle Smith, Lydia Franks, Tricia Walters, Heidi Cowen, Kok Won Lee, Christopher Grimes, Nancy Frith and Wynne Colley. The ‘Secret Garden’ show runs until March 8 and the Arts Centre is open Tuesday – Sunday from 11.00am – 4.00pm.
The 3rd Annual Frog Race starts at 7.00pm with six local artists who have created frogs that will race to raise money for the Arts Centre.
