National Stadium was a beehive of activity today [Feb 23] as the annual Telford Electric Magic Mile took place, with hundreds of children taking part. Winners for the day included Akim Johnston, Rebecca Harrison, Jayden Ming, Ashley Irby, T’Syi Showers, Jade Johnston, Dean Lottimore, Stefan Jones, Jesse Johnston, Malikah Tankard, Asia-Leigh Hollis, Oliver Verster, Zano Tucker, Bakari Furbert, Shemya DeShield, Amayah Burt, Lakai Drummond, Jaden Simons, Alexander Rymon-Lipinski, Sebastian Smith, Chloe Botelho, J’Naz Richards, Tyrah Parris, Dakari Smith-Davis, Daylen Scott, Syhon Goater, Saony Trott, Brooke Castree and Alay Burgess Rocker.

There is no way a 4 year old girl is runing a mile in 2:14.45 2min/mile?
It’s called a ‘mile race’, but the little ones actually run 1 lap around the field, so its about a 1/4 of a mile…
