City To Host Food Festival Starting On March 18
The City Food Festival will kick off on Monday, March 18th from 8am until 9am [or while supplies last] with a complimentary continental breakfast in front of City Hall.
Later on in the day the City will be having the 1st round of the chef’s competition taking place at Bermuda Gas from 5:30 – 8:30pm. This competition is a new element to your food festival which will be an on-going competition taking place on March 18th, 20th and 22nd.
The winner of each round will advance to the next until a winner is crowned. This event is ticket only; tickets can be purchased on premiertickets.bm. The tickets are $30 per event or you can buy a passport for $75 for entry into all three. With purchasing a ticket you will be able to sample the chef’s creations while enjoying complimentary signature beverages provided by Goslings.
On Saturday, March 23rd from 2pm until 10pm there will be a Food Festival in No. 1 Car Park. There will be more than a dozen City restaurants and bars featured, offering a wide variety of foods and specialty drinks. Hosted by Bruce Barritt and Joe Gibbons, rickets are available on sale at premiertickets.bm or at the event.
