Results: Bicycle Works Mountain Bike Race
Race 7 of the Bicycle Works Mountain Bike Race Series was held today [Mar 3] at Ferry Reach Park. Wind, rain and mud greeted the 40 plus competitors, causing havoc on both rider and bike, as they battled the course.
In the Male ‘A’ Class, Mark Hatherley took top honors, followed by Deshi Smith in second and Jean Sebastian Lareau in third.
In the Male ‘B’ Class, Andrew Hern finished first, followed by Paul Lindo in second and Kareem Johnson in third. In the Novice Male Class, Kyle Constable was first, with Jason Thomas in second and Craig Ferguson in third.
In the Female Novice Class, Brittany Uddin took the top honor. In the Junior Male Class, Christian Oatley was the top finisher, followed by Alex Bordage in second and Kendall Harrison In third.
In the Junior Female Class, Tristan Narraway beat out Alyssa Rowse who finished second and Jessie Godfrey who finished third. In the 13 & under Male Class, Christian Roque finished first, followed by Kaleb Madeiros in second and Alexander Miller in third.
The last race of the Bicycle Works Point Series will be held next Sunday at Lagoon Park starting at 9:00am.
