Library Screenings Of “Django Unchained”
The Bermuda National Library will be featuring “Django Unchained” — director Quentin Tarantino’s Oscar-winning Western/revenge fantasy — at its “Saturday’s Selection” screenings this weekend [May 4].
The critically acclaimed 2012 film stars Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington, and Samuel L. Jackson.
Set in the antebellum era of the Deep South and Old West, the film follows a freed slave [Mr. Foxx] who treks across the United States with a bounty hunter [Mr. Waltz] on a mission to rescue his wife [Ms Washington] from a cruel plantation owner [Mr. DiCaprio].
“Django Unchained” won Academy Awards earlier this year for Mr. Tarantino’s original screenplay and Mr. Waltz’s supporting role.
The Library will showing the R-rated film at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
