Man Injured In “Incident” At Docksider Pub

June 18, 2013

A 40-year-old man was injured in what the police termed an “incident” at the Docksider Pub on Front Street early Saturday morning.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 1:15am on Saturday, June 15th police and first responders attended a reported incident at The Docksider Pub & Restaurant on Front Street in the City of Hamilton.

“Details are unclear; however on arrival officers observed patrons assisting an injured male. The 40 year old Smith’s parish man was then taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of relatively minor injuries and subsequently discharged.

“Inquiries are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact the main police number 295-0011.”

    • Chickle says:

I don’t believe their is a mm of space in docksides (with the exception of the bathrooms) that isn’t on CCTV.

  3. ignorance says:

i saw what happened, it has been reported and people were arrested on the scene but yes they do have cctv as well

    • Hey says:

Report doesn’t indicate arrests were made, if arrests were made it would say arrests were made…Bernews can you look into this.

      • Time Shall Tell says:

I am yet to see any incidents that I have personally witnessed where the story makes it to the press be reported correctly even after seeing proper statements be made to the police. I have seen cases make it to the courts then be reported on & the facts be twisted in every direction but correct. Kind of reminds me of that old school game of pass the message.

It’s not perfect but it’s all we have to maintain any sense of order on this rock.
