Tickets For TROIKA Bermuda NC Show On Sale

Tickets are now on sale for the 2013 National Black Theatre Festival [NBTF] in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where TROIKA Bermuda will be making their international performance debut at .

Founded in 1989 with Dr. Maya Angelou serving as the Festival’s first Chairperson, the NBTF is held biennially and attracts more than 65,000 people over its six-day run.

Out of more than 130 entries from theatre companies throughout the United States, Canada, Africa and the Caribbean; TROIKA Bermuda’s original production entitled ‘Misunderstood’ was selected as one of the 30 main stage productions to be featured at this year’s festival.

“Misunderstood”  was originally staged at City Hall in 2012. ‘

A 90-minute theatrical choreoplay with music, “Misunderstood” is about a group of forsaken students who look for their purpose and meaning in a world that seems to only want to confine their dreams and passions.
