Women’s and men’s beach volleyball continued on Monday [July 15] at the National Sports Centre north field, where sand has been trucked in to “recreate” a beach for the 2013 NatWest Island Games.

The point standings as of the end of Monday in the Women’s Beach Volleyball Group Stage Pool A show Menorca leading with six points, Bermuda 2 has four points and Jersey three points. In Pool B, Cayman Islands leads with nine points, Gotland has seven points, Bermuda 1 has five points and Faroe Islands have four points.

In the Men’s Beach Volleyball Group Stage Pool C, Cayman Islands 2 is leading with seven points, Menorca has six points, Bermuda 1 has four points and Faroe Islands 1 has three points. In Pool D, Saaremaa leads with nine points, Jersey has eight points, Cayman Islands 1 has seven points, Bermuda 2 has five points and Isle of Man has three points.
