Video/Photo Set #2: 2013 Non-Mariners Race
[Updated with video] The annual Non Mariners Race took place yesterday [Aug 4] at Mangrove Bay in Sandys, with crowds of people making their way to the west end to enjoy the day’s fun. The winning float for the day was “Cannonair”, which had a special guest onboard for a brief time with Premier Craig Cannonier himself taking to the contraption.
The Premier was one of two politicians to join in as floats poked fun at them, with Shadow Finance Minister David Burt posing for photos alongside “HMS Burtleggers Bliss.” You can view the first set of photos here, and a 4.5 hour webcast replay here.
