BNAA Cross Country Running This Saturday
The Bermuda National Athletics Assocation [BNAA] announced their first cross country event will take place this coming Saturday [Sept 21] at Chaplin Bay at 8:30pm hosted by West End Athletic Club.
BNAA President Donna Watson said, “As per normal the first race will be the younger athletes and the 2nd race the older athletes. We are hoping for a good turn out this weekend with the athletes getting a feel for where they are at this time of the season.
“We are also hoping to have more senior athletes participating in our cross country season especially with Rose-Anna Hoey having such a successful season last year and she is also one of our regular participants in the series.
“I know that she has been promoting cross country and discussing the way it helped her to develop strength. As usual we should see several of our young athletes participating as they prepare for the track & field season.
“We are looking forward to a great year and we have a very busy year ahead of us.”
