Bodybuilding Team Named For Santo Domingo
The Bermuda Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation has selected the team for the upcoming IFBB Caribbean American Caribbean Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation Championships in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
The team includes the class winners from the 2013 Night of Champions contest, which saw over 30 physique athletes hit the stage at City Hall last month.

Bermuda will be among 22 countries and islands represented in the Championships, which will take place from September 20th – 23rd.
Bermuda’s team include BBFF President Candy-Lee Foggo, delegate Dueane Dill, coaches Muhsin Nasir as well as veteran bodybuilder Melanie DeRosa.
Sabrina Burgess, Shameela Simons, Welma Steede and Kimberly Cumberbatch will compete in Figure, while Kyle Santucci and Hafid James are set to compete in the Men’s Physique.
Denielle Dunn will take part in the Bikini Division, Eston Rawlins and Yves Paul will compete in the Men’s Fitness, while while Nicole Tovey will compete in the Women’s Fitness.
Jeftha Miller and Deon Brangman will compete in the Classic Bodybuilding, Ms. Bermuda Susan Rebello and Marina Jn Pierre-Wilkinson will compete in the Women’s Bodybuilding and Mr. Bermuda Javaughn Dill will compete in the Men’s Bodybuilding.
A spokesperson said, “This is one of the largest Bermuda contingents ever to compete in the CAC games, which is a testament to the increasing level of competition and number of competitors in our local Night of the Champions.
“We do not wish to highlight individual competitors at this stage, but we are very excited and trust the team will represent Bermuda well. We are sending a strong contingent of athletes all of whom are in peak physical condition.
“The stakes are high, in the CAC games, with the winner of each category being awarded a pro card which enables the athlete to compete as a professional in their respective discipline. In the past, numerous athletes, from Bermuda, have earned their pro card after being victorious at the CAC games.”
