Charity Cup Raises $1,378 For St John’s

other130912The Bermuda Football Association announced that the 2013/14 Charity Cup match played on Wednesday August 28th, between 2012/13 Season League Champions Devonshire Cougars and the 2012/13 Dudley Eve Champions Somerset Trojans raised a total of $1,378.38 for the St. Johns Ambulance Bermuda Organization.

Calvin Blankendal said, “We wish to acknowledge the Family of Football for attending the season the season opener, to provide funding for such a worthy cause.”

“The Bermuda Football Association is honored to be able to recognize the outstanding service provided by St. Johns Ambulance and wish to thank them and their volunteers for continuing to serve the Family of Football. We look forward to their continued support for many years to come,” concluded Blankendal.

St. Johns Ambulance volunteer Jeffrey Borges said, “On behalf of the St. Johns Ambulance Bermuda we would like to thank the Bermuda Football Association for their donation to the cause.”
