Karting Club To Host Dockyard Grand Prix
Bermudian karting enthusiasts are invited to the Dockyard Grand Prix, hosted by the Bermuda Karting Club and set to take place on November 9 and November 10, 2013, with the special two-day race event to see a racing circuit around the Clock Tower in Dockyard.
Karters will be speeding around the Clocktower Mall for two days in what promises to be the signature race of the season for the sport.
There will be an hour break on noon of both days and a five-minute break before each hour to let traffic pass by. Saturday morning will see drivers in a practice session as they do loops around the Clocktower Mall. After the lunch break, there will be a timed qualifying session before two heat races are held.
Races will take place between 10.00am and 5.00pm on both days of the event, with admission free for anyone who would like to take in the sights and sounds of the Dockyard Grand Prix.
