    • Time Shall Tell says:

    • Sat Dish says:

      • James says:

Rugby is too sophisticated? Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…Oh my, the depths that you folks will drop to. The sport is just short of legal thuggery!

        • Hmmm says:

I’m not a fan of rugby, but for you to say that, you don’t understand the game.

  7. Kangoocar says:

Being it was some of the players of the game?? Why the heck does the police by now NOT know who they are and be in the process of arresting all of them??? This BS really needs to be dealt with, the time has pasted when we really need a professional police force ( Foreign ) that will do the the job properly!!! If these scum bags are caught can they be put in in front of any other magistrate than, magistrate Warn Her/Him????
And I am in full agreement with ” family man” why on earth would any responsible person spend their time going to football games??? Sickening behavior !!!!

    • Sign Up says:

How do you know what the Police are doing, and whether or not they’ve identified the culprits? Your comments just show how little you know.

Perhaps you should apply, to show these slackers how a real cop operates. You know, Miami Vice style! Kicking down doors and taking names.

My advice, stick to the dramatized version of Policing on TV and leave the real work to the people who do it for a living. Stick to what you know. Your welcome.

      • Kangoocar says:

@sign up, any updates on the arrests of these hoodlums??? Still think I don’t know what I am talking about?? These hoodlums were playing the game, and by know we don’t know who they are?? I was a reserve police officer for 7 yrs in the 1980s and the difference of the regular officers back in those days compared too today’s officers are night and day!!! Update me when you can!!,

  8. Squirt says:

You are right. Guys are so busy checkn out each other nowdays its ashamed. All these wet panties… They want men. Why you think they flock to Westgate Marriott..

  9. Roger says:

Seriously, this is a disgrace, how many times? This is cultural, and down to the BFA to get its house in order rather than taking trips to seminars and meetings on beaches. What say you BFA, do you ever have an opinion?

  10. Nuffin but da Truth says:

The cops know who they are and should have busted all of them.
Time to make an example of these punks!

  11. Sat Dish says:

Football, ain’t been for 30 years and certainly won’t go now. With this type of attitude it is amazing we produce quality like Naki, Shawn, etc. These guys had class not like the little wannabe gangster crap at local games. The barrel is rapidly turning rotten from a spitting incident to this.

    • James says:

We not only produce the Naki’s through football, but just in the last 8 years, we have produced over 100 boys and girls that have secured significant financial opportunities at Prep Schools and have gone on to secure significant scholar / athlete (soccer) University scholarships, There is absolutely no other sport that can come close to boasting these accomplishments (FACT). So at some point you football naysayers should just say THANK-YOU!!

  12. Double Seven Single Niner says:

Scrap football in Bermuda and replace it with qaulity sports such as sailing and yachting. The criminal element will not like such a quality sport.

    • James says:

I repeat—show me a sport in this country that can boast the number of scholar / athletes in US and Candian Prep Schools and Universities. Sailing–not even close!!! Accept it—Sailing will never replace football and nor should it.

      • Double Seven Single Niner says:

You are a tool. Look at how many times the authorities have to go to deal with these looney toons at football games. Sailing does not attract the looney toons.

        • Time Shall Tell says:

Wasn’t it a member of the sailing community who with the help of a blood relative proceed to beat an old man on his own property? In the process causing the old man to be hospitalized, would you call that an act of sanity?

        • Roger says:

Is sailing even a sport? Only for those that get picked last at football.

          • James says:

Sailing is a mode of transpiration–expensive one at that.

        • James says:

Tool–don’t think so. What I am is a person that has been and continues to be directly involved in assisting young boys and girls secure attractive financial aid opportunities to a range of good to excellent Pre Prep and prep Schools.
Fact–there is absolutely no other sport in this country that comes remotely close to providing scholar/athletes with so many opportunities..NONE!!

    • Mr. B says:

and the dumbest comment of the day goes too…….

  13. Duhh says:

Stupid comments u people making sometimes people fight nothing to do gangstas or anything soon as it’s a disturbance everybody making it out to b gang related

  14. Street Smart says:

    Not enough WEED!!!!

  15. Take it Easy! says:

These bies now days would rather have true religion jeans then get leg! The funny part is they have those $300 jeans on with $100 in their pockets if that.

  16. more than enough says:

  17. LH says:

    PARIIIIIIIIIISH!!!!

  18. Nuffin but da Truth says:

little babies when locked up..all they hell out is
    I wan ma momma

  19. prioritize says:

With the ammount of violence that takes place at football games you think the BFA would set up something with the police to have a couple officers at games..the presence of police alone would deter this.familys can not take young ones to games in fear of what will happen and it was never like this i remember 80s and 90s every game was jam packed and the quality of football was 10 times as good as it is today.this is a sport that brings people from all over the world together seems the opposite in bermy

    • Ruthless says:

Ya funny! You think these guys give crap about Police! Remember the big fight at Cupmatch with the Gov, Premier and all those Police at the field in St.Georges!

  20. skinnydipper says:

Well i was at that game with my grandson and I ant seen nothing like what this story reading.

  21. X man says:

I get the feeling that Football games today are nothing but arena’s for individuals looking for violence. – and
you wonder why so many people would prefer to watch it on TV.

  22. Was There says:

Nobody from the St.Georges Football team was involved in the fight. FACT .Just some lil punks fighting thats all. No big deal people

  23. Thanks says:

    @ Was There.

Thanks for the correct information. Yes as soon as people see a fight nowadays they immediately think Gang. Most of the time it is but sometimes it is not. As my kids tell me all the time. Don’t assume get the facts the whole story first. But on a serious tip. I don’t know what power the BFA has but the need to make a better vocal effort first to let certain people know that violence will not be tolerated. Put that out there first. Ads. Do some Marketing BFA. Be vocal ( if you haven’t already ) and than have more of a police presence at these football games. For folks like me that no longer attend games because of violence. Don’t need somebody elses BRAT to steal my joy!!

  24. sm3b says:

For the record the IRFC players were watching the second game after playing when they were attacked. They did not start anything.

    • Was There says:

So they just travel with weapons?? Lets be real here.
