44 Year Old Charged With Wounding With Intent

February 10, 2014

Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [Feb 10], Dennis Maynard was charged with illegally wounding another man with the intent to do grievous bodily harm.

This was alleged to have happened in Warwick on 11th October 2013, and alleged to have involved a stabbing. As the charges can only be heard in the Supreme Court, the defendant did not have to enter a plea.

Senior Magistrate Archie Warner granted the 44-year-old $10,000 bail, required a surety, and ordered that he not interfere with any of the witnesses or complainants.

Mr. Maynard must re-appear for mention on 24th February.
