Videos: 2014 Annual Sports Awards Ceremony
Hundreds of family, friends and athletes turned out for the annual Bermuda Sports Awards which took place on Saturday night [Mar 22] at the Fairmont Southampton, with the island’s top athletes being honoured for their achievements.
Premier Craig Cannonier and Minister Wayne Scott attended the event which saw a host of athletes nominated for their performances throughout the past year.
Triathlete Tyler Butterfield and swimmer Ashley Yearwood were crowned the male and female athletes of the year, while Justin Donawa and Kyrah Scraders were named the male and female junior athletes of the year.
Videos below feature a performance by the Bermuda Regiment Band which started the evening off followed by a performance by track and field athlete Latroya Darrell and the ceremony itself lasting about two and a half hours.
