September 8, 2014

The Bermuda’s Public School System started off the new school year this morning [Sept 8] with school openings across all levels from primary to senior schools, with approximately 5,400 students and more than 500 educators on their first day of class.

This morning the Minister of Education and Economic Development, Dr. Grant Gibbons was on hand to assist with registering new M1 Students at Dellwood Middle School.

Minister Gibbons said, “It is such a pleasure to see the excitement and enthusiasm from the students returning to school this morning. It was also great to have so many parents of middle school students present as well. We certainly look forward to their continued support through the school year. I wish to thank all the school educators who warmly welcomed back the students and wish them a successful school year.”
