Police Tattoo Postponed Until Sunday At 5pm

Due to the expected inclement weather from Tropical Storm Fay, the Police Tattoo has been postponed until tomorrow, with the Tattoo now set to be held at 5pm on Sunday at the National Sports Centre.

A police spokesperson said, “After careful consultation with the relevant stakeholders and the elevation of Tropical Storm Fay to a Tropical Storm Warning a decision was made to formally postpone the tattoo until Sunday October 12th at 5pm at the National Sports Centre.

“And in the event of rain tomorrow [Sunday] a wet weather plan of Ruth Seaton James Centre for the with two shows with the first at 4pm for the Commissioner Vision Awards and special guest and the second concert at 6pm for the general public.”

The Royal Bahamas Police Force Band give a preview performance

The Police Tattoo will feature groups including the Royal Bahamas Police Force Band, North Village Community Band, Somerset Brigade Band, Bermuda Regiment Band and the Bermuda Islands Pipe Band and Dancers. Admission is free.
