Dr. Mark Guishard To Join Roundtable Talk
Imagine Bermuda has secured Dr. Mark Guishard an additional participant in the Roundtable discussion which will held tomorrow [Nov 6], with Dr. Guishard set to join Bishop Nicholas Dill, Martha Dismont, Gavin Smith and Rev. Nicholas Tweede.
Dr. Guishard brings an added dimension to the conversation as the former Director of Bermuda Weather Service and current Program Manager for the Risk Prediction Initiative at BIOS.
A spokesperson said, “The other panellists will offer their insights into more of the social implications coming out of this experience for these two storms, which is key in our island going forward, and Dr. Guishard will provide some additional context.
“He intends to use a slide presentation summing up what we all experienced during that pivotal week of crisis.
“This addition reinforces the experience offered by this Roundtable Discussion, bringing it even more in line with our Mission which is to foster life-long learning for everyone in the community.
“While most will not get the opportunity to participate in the Roundtable, all are invited to Pause & Reflect at 1 pm on Thursday [Nov 6].
