Car Crashes Through Wall In St. George’s

[Updated] Police attended the scene of a collision on Mullet Bay Road near the junction with Stokes Point Road in St George’s this morning [Dec 7] where a vehicle smashed through a wall and was hanging off the road.

Traffic flow through the area was stopped when a tow truck arrived at the scene at approximately 10.30am and removed the vehicle. Unofficial reports from bystanders at the scene indicate the driver was not injured in the incident. Details are limited at this time, however we will update as able.

Update Dec 9, 11.09am: A police spokesperson said, “Around 10am on Sunday, December 7th police officers were dispatched to a reported single vehicle damage only collision on Mullet Bay Road in St. George’s, near the junction with Stokes Point Road.

“It appears that a car being driven along Mullet Bay Road collided with a wall, causing damage to the vehicle as well as the wall. However, there were no reported injuries.”

    “Ride like lightening crash like thunder” Personally, I am fed up with hearing of so many wrecks from careless drivers! Though I do feel if they’re not due any medical reasons, then them who are involved need to acknowledge that their drivers licence is only a privilege and not a obligation :-(
    Therefore take them all from them that are a danger to others for a decade or longer!

    Another example of stunning Bermuda driving talent. The driver is OK so at least we know he did not suffer some crippling medical condition like a stroke or heart attack.
