20 Year Old Charged With Prince Edness Murder
Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [Jan 7], a 20-year-old man was charged with the murder of Prince Edness, with Jaquii DeSilva Pearman facing multiple indictable charges.
DeSilva Pearman was charged that being concerned with Joshua Usher, who was previously charged with the murder, that he unlawfully killed Prince Edness, used a firearm, unlawfully used a firearm during flight and unlawfully possessed a firearm and ammunition.
The defendant was not required to enter a plea as the charges can only be dealt with in Supreme Court, and he was remanded into custody.
On December 7th 2014, police responded to a shooting that took place in Southampton, which saw 29 year old Prince Edness fatally shot, and the suspect[s] fire at a police officer who was chasing them.
