Dage Minors Wins 800M At Dartmouth Relays

January 13, 2015

Competing for his Franklin Pierce University Men’s Track & Field team, Bermuda’s Dage Minors took home a first place finish in the 800m at the 46th annual Dartmouth Relays held in New Hampshire, as well as recording a fourth place finish in the 400m.

He recorded a time of 1:58.31 in the 800m, and a time of 50.43 in the 400m.

The school’s website said, “Minors was able to grab four points for the Ravens with the finish in the Men’s 400 Meter Dash, coming in as the second best time out of all Northeast-10 schools. Then he took home the top spot in the Men’s 800 meter dash, collecting ten points.”

This follows after another strong showing last month from the young Bermudian, which saw him win the 800m at the Elm City Challenge hosted by Southern Connecticut State University meeting the NEICAAA Championships qualifying time, and posting a new school record.
