Premier & Prince Abdullah Hold Second Meeting
For the second time in under six months, the Premier Michael Dunkley had the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness [HRH] Prince Abdullah bin Khaled bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Prince Abdullah is a prominent member of the Saudi Arabian Royal family which owns the Elbow Beach Bermuda hotel.
The meeting took place on Friday [Feb. 27]. The last time the two met was September 2014.
Premier Dunkley said last Friday’s meeting provided an opportunity for them to further their previous discussions on several matters, including tourism, the Elbow Beach property, hotel development in Bermuda and the America’s Cup.
Premier Dunkley noted that the discussions this time around were “fruitful and productive”, and said he “remains encouraged by the Prince’s continued dedication and commitment to ensuring that the landmark South Shore property is a world class resort.”

elbow Beach sits on the most pristine of all Bermuda beaches.
It is an amazing property. Looking forward to hearing of any new plans !
“Birds of the same feather do flock together.” In other words, them with money do know exactly how to keep making more monies…
I take this opportunity to thank you Premier Michael Dunkley on behalf of many other Bermudians (though not everyone unfortunately )for having the business knowledge you do retain so as we can one day up-the M.V. Bermuda having it once again “on an even keel.”
