Nancy Osbaldeston To Dance In Bermuda

Bermuda Civic Ballet said that Nancy Osbaldeston will be dancing two classical pieces in the upcoming Summer Selections 2015, August 6 and 7, at the Earl Cameron Theatre, City Hall.

“Nancy is a demi-soloist in her first year with the Royal Ballet of Flanders, where she danced Olga in John Cranko’s Onegin. Having trained at the National English Ballet School, she then joined the ENB company, winning the Emerging Dancer Award,” a spokesperson said.

“Before that, she was a finalist at the Prix de Lausanne, and was later nominated for Time Out’s talent for 2013 “Ones to watch”. She was also nominated for a Critics’ Circle Award for her performance as the Ballerina in Petroushka.

“Nancy has performed all over the world and appeared on ITV, Channel 4 and Sky Arts.

“She is excitedly looking forward to adding Bermuda to her range of locations and experiences, and Civic feels very lucky to have lured a dancer of her calibre for this summer show.
