Man Denies Threats, Attempting To Enter Home

June 16, 2015

In Magistrates Court this morning [June 16], a 39-year-old man denied attempting to enter a dwelling as a trespasser and using threatening words.

Al-Ruell Simmons plead not guilty to a charge alleging that on 13th October 2013, he attempted to enter as a trespasser at a Devonshire residence in order to inflict actual bodily harm on a person within.

Mr Simmons also plead not guilty to a charge that on 10th June 2015 he used threatening words to another person allegedly saying: “I’ll chop your head off. I’ll kill you.”

Senior Magistrate Juan Wolffe set trial for August 2015, granted bail at $2,500 with one surety, and ordered Mr Simmons to stay away from the complaints residence.
