Rider In ICU After Collision On Par-la-Ville Road

A 43 year old Pembroke man is in stable condition in the ICU following a collision yesterday Par-la-Ville Road.

A police spokesperson said, “At 5:15pm on Sunday [July 19] a motorcyclist was traveling north on Par-la-Ville Road when it appears that the rider forgot to slow down as he approached the speed bump just outside of the Royal Gazette resulting in the rider being thrown from the cycle.

“The 43 year old Pembroke man was taken to KEMH where listed in stable in the ICU. Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have seen the collision to contact police on 295-0011.”

    Knew nothing good would come from that speed bump. The bikes take advantage of them to take over. They do not slow down. In Flatts, it is constant. We slow down and the speed up.
