Terceira & Nisbett Advance To Finals In Toronto

istatshorse150723Bermudian equestrians Jillian Terceira and Patrick Nisbett were back in action in the Pan Am Games in Toronto after advancing through the first round.

In Round Two, the Rails were raised and the course became a little more challenging for both riders and horses.

Terceira, and her 12 year old mount Tamerino finished 43rd, they recorded 12 Jumping Faults and 2 Time Fault points for a total of 14 Penalty Fault Points, while Nisbett and his nine year old horse Quick Z finished 45th with 16 Jumping Faults and 1 Time Fault for a total of 17 Penalty Fault Points.

In the second round of the day and the third of the competition, Terceira and Tamerino recorded 4 Penalty Fault points knocking down one rail and they had 2 Time Faults for a total of 6 Penalty Fault Points in the Round.

Nesbitt and Quick Z made a dramatic entrance to the show ring, Quick Z showed a bit of nerves as he was in the holding ring,

Quick Z was refusing to enter the Ring leaping up on his hind legs, with Nisbett fighting to stay on, Nisbett was able to calm Quick Z and they entered the ring backward, once in the ring Quick Z and Nisbett attacked the course and recorded 16 Jumping Faults and 1 Time Fault for a total of 17 Penalty Fault Points.

Both have advanced to the Medal Round on Saturday [July 25].
