Basketball: Crossfire Ballers & Court Kings Win
The 2015/16 Cellone Island Basketball League Season continued with a double-header inside the CedarBridge Gymnasium as 167 points were scored on the night.
The opening game of the night saw the Crossfire Ballers go 2- 0 on the season after defeating the Hoopstars who have yet to win 51- 43. Marcus Robinson scored 22 points to lead the Crossfire Ballers to victory, while Yontz Sutton scored a game high 24 points for the Hoopstars.
Game 2 saw the Court Kings pick up their first win of the new season by defeating the Rim Rockers 41- 34. Jamie Percell scored a game high 14 points to lead the Court Kings to victory, while Serge Kere led the Rim Rockers with 6 points.
