IRM To Host Two Training Courses In Bermuda

October 14, 2015

The Institute of Risk Management [IRM] Bermuda Group announced that they will be hosting two of the IRM’s most popular training courses in Bermuda in November 2015.

The first is the popular two-day Fundamentals of Risk Management [FoRM] course which provides a comprehensive overview of practical enterprise risk management [ERM] and ISO 31000, the global risk management standard.

FoRM is designed to teach you the tools and techniques you need to help your organisation tackle its risks and is a stepping stone to further IRM qualifications.

The second course, running in Bermuda for the first time, focuses on the use of Key Risk Indicators [KRIs] to both prevent risk and exploit the opportunities it offers.

It’s a one-day course that provides practical examples on the development and use of appropriate KRIs and designing an efficient indicator programme within an overall risk management framework.

The IRM Bermuda Group has negotiated discounts of between 20-25% for these courses being run in Bermuda.

Jonathan Groves, chairman of the IRM Bermuda Group, said, “We’re thrilled to be able to offer these quality training courses here in Bermuda.

“Feedback from attendees of FoRM last year was fantastic and we hope that by offering the KRI course too we’ll be able to provide relevant training to a wide spectrum of people with an interest in the risk management profession. Attendees of the FoRM course will also get a year’s affiliate membership to the IRM so we think that this along with the discounted cost represents great value.”

Places on the courses are strictly limited and filling fast. For more information and to register visit here or contact the IRM at training@theirm.org
