Photos: Bermuda Hockey Season Gets Underway

The 2015/16 Bermuda Hockey Federation season got underway at the National Sports Center.

Bluebirds 0 Budgies 11

The season opener produced an 11 goal runaway win for the Budgies against a 10 Women Bluebirds team.

The Budgies were led to victory by Jasmine Patterson who scored four times, while Amy Fox and Francesca Cacace both added two goals each, the Budgies also got single goals off the sticks of Jaselle Smith, Milan Warburgess and Erica Parsons.

Longtails 4 Canaries 0

The Longtails took a 1 – 0 lead in the 7th minute when Tara Boylan scored a Field Goal, a Field Goal in the 31st minute off the stick of Rose Simmons made it 2 – 0 and when Connie Betts scored a Field Goal in the 33rd minute it gave the Longtails a 3 – 0 lead. Louise Boylan scored from a Penalty Corner for the Longtails in the 67th minute to earn the 4 – 0 win.
