13 Videos: America’s Cup Series In Bermuda

October 19, 2015

Artemis Racing from Sweden claimed a victory in the final Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series event of the year, overcoming a crash with an umpire boat to claim the series victory.

After racing was abandoned on Saturday due to lack of wind, three races were scheduled for Sunday with double points on offer, with the on-water activities supplemented by a concert, event village and more.

Speaking after the event concluded, Russell Coutts the CEO of the America’s Cup Event Authority, said: “We’ve seen Bermuda come out and put its arms around this event and I think it shows this is going to be a great event in 2017.”

This is a nice atmosphere, now back to reality, the 3000 unemployment, the break down between Govt. and Unions, disruptions with buses and trash trucks, lack of Public School Funding and seniors.
Now that the maritime community had their fun (whom most don’t have the economic and social issues that us land lovers have)it’s back to showing interest for the PEOPLE of this island.
