Flying Colours Mountain Bike Race Results
The 2015/2016 Flying Colours Mountain Bike Race Series continued with the second race of the season at the Arboretum, with 114 competitors competing in 12 different Divisions.
The Male A Division was dominated by youngsters yet again but it was a photo finish to get a winner as Matthew Oliveira completed 12 laps in a time of 50:47.546, Robin Horsfield was ruled second with a time of 50:47.680 and Dylan Hill finished third with a time of 51:22.078.
The race featured Pan American Bronze Medalist Flora Duffy who was competing in the Female A Division, she was the only competitor clocking a winning time of 50:23.527 after 10 laps.
The Male Veteran Over 40 Division was won by Hans Hirschi who clocked a 8 lap time of 40:09.404, Dexter Swan was second in 40:57.761 and Christopher Roque was third clocking 42:50.701. Alyssa Rowse won the Female B Division, clocking an 8 lap time of 40:12.132, Ashley Robinson was second in 42:18.437 and Cassy McPhee was third in 43:37.362.
