Bermuda Books For Sale Features Local Authors
A sale of books by Bermudian authors at the Dr. E.F. Gordon Memorial Hall was deemed such a success by organisers that the event will be repeated on Saturday, December 19.
The event will be held from 9.00am through 2.00pm at the Sweeting/Ball Memorial Hall at the BIU building.
The event will feature books by authors including Dale Butler, Walton Brown, Ottiwell Simmons, Ira Philip, Larry Scott, Junior Burchall, David Chapman, Quito Swan, Alvin Williams and Leleath Bailey, Roosevelt Brown, Angela Browne, Peggy Burns, Vanz Chapman, Dr. Joseph Christopher, Dr. Eva Hodgson, Elizabeth Kawaley, Khalid Wasi, and E. Merle Brock Swan Williams.
A spokesperson said, “If you were unable to attend last week Saturday’s successful Bermuda Books For Sale event, or wish to return again, you may do so this Saturday. A number of titles met their end and were sold out.”
