Interruption Due To Vehicle Hitting Pole [Fixed]
[Updated] BELCO advised customers in the Ord Road/Ess Hill area that an interruption of service is necessary today [Dec 31] to “replace a pole that is believed to have been struck by a vehicle,” and approximately 230 customers will be affected.
A spokesperson said, “BELCO would like to advise customers in the Ord Road/Ess Hill area that an interruption of service is necessary today to replace a pole that is believed to have been struck by a vehicle.
“Approximately 230 customers will be affected. BELCO crews are working to restore power to the area as soon as possible and apologise for any inconvenience.
“We would also like to take this opportunity to wish all of our customers a Happy New Year and a healthy and fulfilled 2016.”
Update 2.03pm: BELCO said power has been fully restored to the Ord Road/Ess Hill area.
