Bermuda Welcomes First Baby Of 2016
Bermuda welcomed the first baby of 2016 at 5.55pm today [Jan 1] when Shikiyla Hendrickson gave birth to 7lb 1.3oz baby boy.
A Bermuda Hospitals Board spokesperson said: “BHB is delighted to announce the first birth of 2016 at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
“A 7lb 1.3oz boy was born at 5:55pm on 1 January 2016 to mother Shikiyla Hendrickson. Mother and baby are enjoying their first evening together with family and friends.”

Congratulations Ms Hendrickson – welcome baby boy. My daughter was born Jan 1, 2014. It’s probably the best birthday ever.
