Who rules the world? If you believe Beyoncé, the answer is ‘women’.

And if you look at the Bermuda Klout list for January, women certainly hold down many of the premium spots.

Five of the top six people are women, and the two biggest moves of the month were made by the ladies.

Shari-Lynn Pringle moved up to number six as she continues to rise again to her previous prominence. The top 10 otherwise remains the same with Shari reshuffling the order.

WWE and FOX news commentator John Layfield continues his dominance at number one followed by the Bermuda Tourism Authority, Bernews and musicians Heather Nova and Collie Buddz.

Kristin White saw her score leap by eight points and is tied for number 16 with Jamel Hardtman.

Rejoining the list this month, besides Kristin, are Carly Lodge and Bill Davidson.

All scores were recorded from January 3-5, 2015.

Klout attempts to quantify a person or business social media influence through a variety of platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, among others. The scores run from one to 100 with 40 being average.
