PLP To Host Free Health Screening On Feb 13
On Saturday, February 13, the PLP western branches, including constituencies 33 through 36, will be hosting a free health screening to celebrate the party’s 53 years of existence.
Professionals will be available to run a variety of tests, with the entire community invited to attend. The event will take place from 10.00am to 1.00pm at Alaska Hall.
A spokesperson said, “On February 14, 1963, the Progressive Labour Party hosted it’s first public meeting at Alexandrina Hall with the purpose of galvanizing support for a just and equitable political system, geared to providing a brighter future for all.
“Since then, we have grown tremendously, and work to stay true to those principles today.”

Now these are the facts we want to see, OBA please Show us a sign you really care for Bermudians and futur Bermudians. Fix the enemployment problem, I have so many Bermudian friends eager to work but no jobs are available for them.
The hours need to accomodate the working person, who gets off at 5pm…therefore a 3pm to 7pm would be best. Good intentions, but we need to reach further into the community. The working person who has an hour for lunch, say 12 noon, cannot get in line at 12:20, go thru the various steps and visit different doctors, leave at 12:45pm , to get back to work, it honestly can not be done.
