Photos: Warwick Students Go Bald For Charity
Some of the students and staff at Warwick Academy shaved their heads for charity on Friday [March 18], joining students and staff at Saltus Grammar School as well as the community at large in helping to raise funds for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which aims to support cancer research.
According to the event website, the Warwick Academy event has raised $51,864 as of this writing, with the event website saying, The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long, healthy lives. Here in Bermuda funds can also go to support Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre’s SunSmart program.”
