Bermuda’s Nahki Wells – who boasts a standing as the fourth top goal scorer in the Championship among players from both sides as of April 18 – is up for Huddersfield Town’s ‘Player of the Year,’ with the public able to help by voting the striker into the top position.
A story in the Examiner said, “Voting is now open for the Hargreaves Memorial Huddersfield Town Player of the Year 2015/16. Following Saturday’s 2-0 victory at Blackburn Rovers, the team lie 16th in the Championship. But which player has stood out more than the rest?”
“Top scorer Nahki Wells has netted 16 times in all competitions, and is a shoe-in to collect the Golden Boot, but he’s also chalked up four assists and his all-round displays have won plaudits from his manager.”
