Over 75 Players Take Part In Samba Futsal Clinic
Footy Promotions concluded the Samba Futsal Clinic on May 29th at the Mount Saint Agnes Gymnasium, with over 75 players having participated in the event.
The clinic was under the direction of Denison Cabral [Brazilian Born – Youth Technical Director of the United States Futsal Federation and President of DCFA]. Special guest at the event include: Kate Laukhart [DCFA - Maryland]; Gabe Penaloza [United Football Academy – Los Angeles], UK Scout and Arsenal FC’s Wonderkid – Omari Hutchinson [UK]
A spokesperson said, “We are happy to announce that Malachai Belboda and Matthew Elliott were selected from the futsal clinic to train with the Denison Cabral Futsal Academy in Maryland.
Vinzie Zuill, President of Footy Promotions says, “The Samba Futsal Clinic was an amazing event and great fun. Over 75 players participated in this event and had the opportunity to be trained by Denison, who delivered top class training sessions.
“This year, Omari Hutchinson [Arsenal FC’s Wonderkid] accepted our invitation to attend the clinic. This was an added bonus for the players as they had a chance to train and play with him. Omari was also on hand to sign autographs.
“The players were very focused, had good energy, showed their skills and made a lasting impression on our guest. We have worked in partnership with Denison over the years so we are pleased to offer opportunities through his Academy for local players. Well done to the players selected and good job to all players that attended it was excellent futsal skills on display.”
