Premier In UK This Week For OT Meetings

Premier Michael Dunkley is currently in London participating in the annual Overseas Territories Joint Ministerial Council Meetings [OT JMC].

Other OT leaders from Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, Gibraltar, Montserrat, Turks and Caicos Islands, Ascension Island, Tristan Da Cunha, St Helena and Pitcairn have convened at the yearly gathering to discuss matters of mutual interest to their respective territories.

While in London, the Premier will also conduct meetings with key representatives of the UK Government. Earlier today, the Premier met with Bermuda’s Governor Designate John Rankin, and this evening, he will join Bermuda’s London Office in hosting the annual networking forum for Bermudians living, working and studying in the UK.

Traditionally the networking reception provides an opportunity for Bermudians to have a face to face discussions with the Premier.

The Premier who returns to Bermuda on Thursday, is accompanied to the UK by the Secretary to the Cabinet, Dr. Derrick Binns and Kimberley Durrant, UK Representative and Director of the London Office.
