Three People Injured In Two Different Collisions
Collisions in Pembroke and Smiths yesterday [Nov 3] resulted in three people being injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 7:20pm on Thursday, November 3rd police and first responders were dispatched to a reported two motorcycle collision at the junction of Crow Lane and Lane Hill in Pembroke.
“It appears that two male motorcyclists were traveling in opposite directions on Crow Lane when the collision occurred, as the rider heading toward the City of Hamilton attempted to turn on to Lane Hill.
“The 30 year old Sandys man and 57 year old Pembroke man involved were taken to hospital via ambulance for treatment of their injuries and later discharged.
“Around 9:40am on Thursday, November 3rd police and first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of North Shore Road and Store Hill in Smith’s parish.
“It appears that a car driver and a motorcyclist traveling in opposite directions along North Shore Road collided, as the car driver attempted to turn on to Store Hill.
“The rider, a 25 year old Pembroke man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.
“At last check he was in stable condition on a general ward.
“Both vehicles were damaged. However, no other injuries were reported.
“Inquiries continue and any witnesses that have not already come forward should contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
